Questions teachers ask

Is there a free trial?
No, the free tier is the trial. Every game and every free tool work with no account.
Do I pay separately for each game?
No. The games are free to play, and one subscription adds the extra content in every game that has it, including the ones added later.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your classes, students, comments, scores, registers, word lists, sentence lists and Staffroom collections stay in your account, and you can read them at any time, whether you subscribe or not. Without a subscription you can still keep two classes, and you can add students and scores to them. If you hold more than two classes, they all stay and you can still read them. Changing them needs a subscription. Comments, word lists and sentence lists always need a subscription, no matter how many classes you have. So do posting and replying in The Staffroom, and making collections or adding worksheets to them. If a payment does not go through, your subscription stops, and so does everything it adds. Nothing is deleted. The card is tried again for a while. Update your card on your account page and your subscription starts again. If the card is not updated, the subscription ends.
Will my price go up later?
Not for you. If you already subscribe, you keep the price you signed up at for as long as your subscription stays active.
Can I get a refund?
On the yearly plan you can request a refund within 30 days. See the refund policy for how to ask. If you switch from monthly to yearly, you have the same 30 days to request a refund as if you had bought yearly, counted from that payment. The refund covers what you actually paid for the yearly plan, after any credit from your monthly plan.
Do students need accounts?
No. Only the teacher signs in.
