Refund and cancellation policy

You can cancel at any time from your account page. You do not need to email anyone and you do not need to give a reason.

When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that it does not renew and you are not charged again.

Cancelling does not delete your work. Your classes, students, comments, scores, word lists, sentence lists and Staffroom collections stay in your account, and you can read them at any time, whether you subscribe or not. Without a subscription you can still keep two classes, and you can add students and scores to them. If you hold more than two classes, they all stay and you can still read them. Changing them needs a subscription. Comments, word lists, sentence lists and Staffroom collections always need a subscription, no matter how many classes you have.

If you are on the yearly plan at $49.99 a year, you can request a refund within 30 days of the payment.

Email admin.classcookies@gmail.com from the address on your account and tell us you would like a refund. We will pass the request to Paddle, who process the payment back to your original payment method. Refunds are approved by Paddle, and money usually reaches you within about ten working days once approved.

The monthly plan at $4.99 a month does not come with a 30 day refund. It is a short commitment already: you can cancel any time, there is no lock-in, and you keep access to the end of the month you paid for.

If something has gone wrong, email us anyway. We would rather sort it out than leave a teacher unhappy.

Subscriptions renew automatically. If a renewal has caught you by surprise, email us within 30 days on the yearly plan and we will handle it under the section above.

The classroom timer, the stopwatch, the clock, the class scoreboard, the whiteboard, Let the Donut Decide, Team Decider and Coin Flip are all free and need no account, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

This policy is in addition to any right you have under consumer law where you live. It does not take those rights away.
